Monett, MO. - Late August/early
September is always an exciting time around the Missouri Mule offices, as grand-
daughter, Sophia Klaire celebrates her first birthday on August 24, two weeks
before older sister, Lauryn Grace celebrates her third on September 8.
Grandpa Supe says, “Happy birthday, darlings.”
Nashville, TN. - Pre-production has started
on ‘Rock Along With Mark & Mike', the second effort from funny men Mark
& Mike. On the tails of their first effort, ‘Sing Along With Mark &
Mike’, a new litter of loony tunes has been penned by the duo.
Described by the Nashville Scene as, “Their Grandpa Jones meets Brave Combo
asthetic, produces music equally appropriate for a 6-year-old’s birthday party
or drunken after hours revelry”. Recording begins this fall.
Springfield, MO. - Pre-production has
started on the follow-up disc to the Garbonzos’ critically acclaimed debut
“Eat Our Beans”. Accordionist Chris Slatinsky, washboard/fiddler John
Ehlers, and guitarist Tim White have been writing songs, and plan to enter the
studio this fall.

San Francisco, CA. - Alternative Tentacles
announces the release of ‘Hee Haw Hell’, the latest effort from New Orleans
rock-n-roll stalwarts, Dash Rip Rock. Featuring legendary mad man/front
man/guitarist, Bill Davis, Dash has whipped audiences into frenzies with their
own smash mouth sound and absurd theatrical antics for decades. Their ten
song album features Missouri Mule’s, ‘Fall Down, Go Boom’ (co-written with
Mark Horn). The bluegrass tune, originally featured on ‘Sing Along With Mark
& Mike’, is given a complete face lift by this trio of Big Easy
knuckleheads. The results are nothing less than stunning and un-bluegrass-like.
Release date is January, 2007.
